Former Somali PM Abdiweli Gas says President Hassan Sheikh should go to Hiran people and listen to their concerns

The former prime minister of Somalia and the former president of Puntland administration, Abdiweli Mohamed Ali Gas has called on the federal government of Somalia to deal with the issue of Hiran people.

In an interview given by Abdiweli Gas, he said that President Hassan Sheikh is required to go to Hiran people and listen to their discussion.

“Today the government is fragile, and every tribe has veto power. So it is necessary to approach these people and say what is your concern,” said Abdiwali Gas.

Abdiwali Gas said that President Hassan Sheikh, who is currently in Dhusomareb city, is easy for him to go to Baladweyne city and meet Ali Jeyte.

“What is the problem if President Hassan Sheikh goes to Ali Jeyte and says, Brother, what is your problem? If Ali made it a challenge to go to Mogadishu, the president should open that challenge and go to Ali Jeyte,” said Abdiweli Gas.

Raysal, the former minister, said that the people of Hiran are oppressed by the power sharing system of the Hirshabelle administration.
