The Prime Minister of Somalia, Hamza Abdi Barre, also visited the Halane compound last night and visited Ahmed Islam and Said Deni, discussing preparations for the scheduled general conference.
However, the leaders of Puntland and Jubaland have previously confirmed that they will not leave Mogadishu until a full agreement is reached on the disputed issues, calling on the President to seriously face the scheduled talks.
The members of the Future Council also stated that the country needs security and an agreement on the electoral process, with only a few months left in the term of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
