Mortar Shelling targets the presidential complex in Villa Somalia




Three mortar shells on Tuesday hit a nearby Presidential compound in Mogadishu. There are no casualties that have been reported. Locals have confirmed that the mortars have barraged villages adjacent to Villa Somalia. Authorities have not so far spoken of who has carried out the mortar attacks which is being blamed for Al Shabab,

The Al Qaeda affiliated terrorist groups in Somalia. It is reported that one mortar landed outside the Ethiopian embassy, which is a stone’s throw away from the presidential complex in Mogadishu. Al Shabab, which was emancipated from Mogadishu resorted to shelling mortars targeting the presidential compound in Villa Somalia.
