Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble met with the family of Ikran Tahlil Farah, whose death was recently announced by Somali spy chief Fahad Yasin (NISA).

The meeting was also attended by Ugas Abdirahman Ugas Abdullahi and members of Ikran’s family, and the prime minister shared his feelings and regrets over the plight of their daughter.

”The prime minister has reassured Ikran’s family of their commitment to justice and will take the necessary steps to ensure that, and calls for the immediate release of the innocent, abducted,” said a statement from Roble’s office.

The Prime Minister has previously said that once the information is complete, he will make the appropriate decision in the case and share it with all Somalis.

“I acknowledge that the improper handling of Ikran’s case has touched the hearts of the Somali people and created resentment that has led to the abduction of innocent citizens,” Roble said.

Prime Minister Roble has been closely following the two-month standoff and is expected to make a tough decision on the outcome of the case, which is expected to upset the Somali spy chief Fahad Yasin and Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo.
