A delegation from the federal government of Somalia has today reached the Dolow district in Gedo region. The delegation comprising of ministers and military officials was warmly welcomed in the Dolow district of the region.
Ministers include the Minister of Justice, the Minister of Defense, the Minister of Information and members of the Armed Forces. The ministers and accompanying officials also met with the Dolow district administration and local intellectuals, which was a briefing. After that, the delegation sent by the Somali government was on its way to the Beled-Hawo district where heavy fighting broke out recently.
Upon arrival in Beled-Hawo, the delegation will conduct a thorough assessment of the impact of the heavy fighting between the Somali National Army and Minister Janan on the town and the overall situation. The situation in Beled-Hawo has been calm for the last few days and the Somali government forces are in the town and on the outskirts.
