Somali leaders in a meeting that brought together the elders and intellectuals of the Dhulbahante and Fiqishini clans, took place in the city of Las Anod, a statement came out saying that the Somaliland army will withdraw from the city of Las Anod and the Sool region.
The leaders and intellectuals of the Sool region demanded the withdrawal of Hargeisa troops from the Sool region.
The two communities said that they are coming together for a consultative conference to discuss the fate of the Sool region, and they called before that to maintain order and security.
In the articles of the meeting, it was said that Hargeisa takes responsibility for the people who were killed in the city of Las Anod, during the protests and assassinations, killing and injuring innocent civilians.
However, calls to calm the Las Anod crisis are coming, but apparently Hargeisa has turned a deaf ear to them.
