Members of the People’s Assembly of the Federal Parliament of Somalia who held a meeting today at their headquarters in Villa Hargeisa in Mogadishu have appointed the members of the new cabinet of the government of Somalia.
This important meeting was chaired by the Speaker of the People’s Assembly, Adan Madobe, who was surrounded by his two deputies. Before the start of the meeting, members of the parliament made noise, which led to the cancelation of the previous speech by the prime minister.

After the MPs raised their hands for the implementation of the new government, it was approved by a majority of 229 MPs, while 7 MPs rejected it, and 1 gentleman was silent, as announced by Adan Madobe. Somalia’s Cabinet of Ministers was also sworn in at the same place, with the Chief Justice of the country present at the swearing-in ceremony.

Prime Minister Hamza Abdi, who spoke at the parliamentary meeting, thanked the MPs and said that they will contribute to the development of the country.
