Somalia president announced what happened between dictator Ismaïl Omar Guelleh and Muse Bihi signing maritime agreement with Ethiopia

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud spoke in part of his speech at the mosque about what happened in Djibouti between him and Muse Bihi, before the maritime agreement in Addis Ababa took place.

Hassan Sheikh first said that he and Muse Bihi talked in a brotherly manner, with each side bringing out their will on the table.

“Me and Muse Bihi met in Djibouti last week, our talks went in a good direction, we have resolved our differences,” said the Somali President.

Hassan Sheikh pointed out the importance of him and Muse Bihi sitting and discussing the fate of Somalia and Northern Somalia Hargeisa administration.

“Muse Bihi told us that he wanted recognition, and we said that we want unity, we said that we should discuss and promote unity, the whole world is now working together, we Somalis cannot be separated, we who love each other as a brotherhood,” added Hassan Sheikh.

“We Somalis do not sacrifice ourselves, let’s accept each other and talk,” the President of Somalia said.

“I say to the Ethiopian government, don’t mislead your people, don’t tell them that we have found peace in Somalia, that’s ridiculous, don’t let your people down, I say to the leaders of Ethiopia, brothers and sisters, Somalia is ready for the world to treat us the way it treats us,” Hassan Sheikh said.

The President of Somalia clearly says that the people of Northern Somalia Hargeisa administration feel alienated from the Somalis, asking that things be changed and that the Somalis continue protecting their territory like their ancestors did before them for thousands of years and for future generations.
