The South West State of Somalia has claimed victory in a battle that erupted today on three sides surrounding the city of Baidoa, the capital of the South West State of Somalia.

The South West State Spokesperson, Ugas Hassan, said in a statement on his Facebook page that they have defeated the parties that launched the attack and are ready to resist anyone who approaches them as he stated.
