Speaker of the Upper House of the Federal Parliament Abdi Hashi Abdullahi has filed a complaint against President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and Prime Minister Mohamed Roble to the international community.  Hashi is protecting Somalia’s constitution and President Farmajo and the Prime Minister is violating the country’s laws and appointing Somalia’s electoral commissions illegally.

The two-page statement from the Office of the Speaker of the Upper House was sent to the international community and the United Nations Special Representative for Somalia, James Swan, urging them to intervene in the country’s 2020/2021 elections.

Speaker of the Upper House Abdi Hashi has previously opposed the Federal Electoral and Parliamentary Election Commissions from the Northern Regions of Somaliland appointed by Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble.

The Speaker of the Upper House also said in a recent statement that he intends to appoint the Electoral Commissions of the Federal Parliament of Somaliland, but Prime Minister Roble has appointed to the Somali spy agency and President Farmajo with the Marehan community. Farmajo is following the footsteps of his evil uncle dictator Mohamed Siad Barre.
