Puntland governor Said Abdullahi Deni and PSF Director General Brigadier General Mohamoud Osman Abdullahi Diyano are scheduled to meet in Bosaso, the town of Bari region, on Monday.
The meeting, which was chaired by Puntland elders and intellectuals, was recently held in Bosaso by Puntland governor Said Deni.
Mohamoud Osman Diyano had December 2021 rejected the impeachment of the governor of Puntland, which later led to days of fighting in Bosaso between the PSF and those under the command of the governor of Puntland. The meeting is set to end a long-running dispute between the two sides that has hampered the city’s development.
Bosaso is set to hold elections next week for 16 seats in parliament, Evil warlord Said Deni wants to control the seats in Bosaso, and is in a fierce competition with the Peace and Life group who want to share those seats.
