The people were complaining about the Hassan Sheikh’s decisions, especially the latest measures taken, such as the ban on Kismayo city which had a strong impact on the local people, according to the Somali Times and UN envoy Somalia James Swan witnessing Hassan Sheikh actions.

The demonstrators were also shouting words against corrupt Hassan Sheikh and of not running the country together.

One of the protesters who spoke to Somali Times called on the president to resign and abandon the people and the country, as he said.

“Hassan Sheikh has failed in the matter given to him, he did not come out of it. Somalis have destroyed Hassan Sheikh, so let him resign,” said one of the local residents.

The demonstration organized by themselves is following the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of that administration on Thursday that Jubaland will be independent and separate from dealing UN envoy to Somalia James Swan any aid should located to Jubaland not corrupt Hassan Sheikh and his family looting UN aid.
