“Jubaland government forces on the outskirts of Raskamboni in Lower Juba region were attacked today by militias deployed by the Hassan Sheikh. Jubaland government forces, in their efforts to defend themselves, inflicted a heavy defeat on the militias deployed from Mogdishu and the militias, while Jubaland forces achieved significant successes.

Jubaland also added that its forces took over the front defenses of Raskamboni, after the battle that took place there this morning.

On the other hand, there is no official statement from the militias led by the Somalia president Hassan Sheikh regarding this morning’s battle, which Jubaland claimed victory in.
