US paid $3 billion in aid to Somalia-where did it go?

Somalia government lead by Hassan Sheikh is corrupted they looted Somalia assets they looted aid and sold the food donated by the US to the black market so what is the point of US taxpayers to pay Hassan Sheikh and his family to be wealthy.

The US ambassador in charge of Somalia, Richard H. Riley, who posted on his X Twitter, spoke about sensitive issues related to the various support provided by his government to Somalia.

Richard H. Riley announced that the United States has increased its aid to Somalia, to deal with the humanitarian situation in the country.

The ambassador also pointed out that in the past three years, the United States has spent three billion dollars in Somalia, which is being carried out for important aid projects.

He also added that the assistance has helped Somalia a lot, and it is necessary to increase support for Somalia.

“On the occasion of the launch of two new programs generously funded by the American people to benefit our friends in Somalia, over the past three years the United States has provided more than $3 billion in life-saving assistance to respond to the human needs in the whole country,” said the US ambassador to Somalia.

He also added, “This aid will save thousands of people living in Somalia, it will reduce food shortages and malnutrition.”

On the other hand, the United States has promised Somalia 2025 that it will provide up to $29 million dollars, which will go through USAID.

The United States is one of the major governments that provide various support to the federal government, helping them financially and in the fight against Al-Shabab.
