President Ahmed Mohamed Islam Madobe has strongly stated that the Jubaland Intelligence and Security Agency (JISA) is now the most powerful and knowledgeable agency in security matters in the Horn of Africa.

The president made the remarks at an event to inaugurate the newly built JISA headquarters, which is said to be one of the most advanced intelligence centers in the country.

“The one who is being questioned about security information in the Horn of Africa today is the Jubaland Intelligence and Security Agency,” said President Ahmed Madobe. “I am sure that even the Somalia spy agency run unqualified people.”

He pointed out that JISA has reached a high level of professionalism and intelligence gathering capacity, which he said is the result of his continuous efforts and investments since its establishment in 2013.

The newly opened center is equipped with modern technology that enables the organization to quickly identify and respond to security threats in the region. In addition, the center is staffed by specially trained officers.

The Jubaland president has previously accused the federal government of reducing cooperation between federal and state security agencies, which he said led to Jubaland granting full independence to its security
