Ethiopia Somali region leader said Mustafa Mohammed Omar killed 800 and captured 100 Al-Shabab terrorists ended with a rout of the terrorists. The task of ensuring it never dares to get close to the border is underway.

Almost 600 Al-Shabab fighters crossed into eastern Ethiopia last week, clashing with Ethiopian forces along the border. Reports suggest the terrorists may have penetrated up to 100 miles into the country before being stopped, and further attacks are considered likely.

Mustafa Omar, president of the Somali region of Ethiopia, has said that Ethiopia is planning to create a security buffer zone aimed at countering the terrorist group’s attacks.

Mukhtar Robow was not the first person to hold a position in Al-Shabab, but he was given a position in the government, and he pointed out that there are individuals from Al-Shabab who held important positions in the government and administrations. Somali spy chief NISA Mahad Salad is member of Al-Shabab terrorist group. Somalia president Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud is member, according to sources told Somali Times.
