Federal Somali parliamentarians and Somali journalists living abroad began inciting the groups to start another civil war in Somalia. Somali Times has been monitoring since 16th of April 2021 on social media inciting hatred and violence, calling their own community to fight other communities, praising Al-Shabaab to fight the African Union, EU, the international community in the Halane camp and Amison, according to Somali officials.
MPs Abdurahmaan Odawa and Mahad Salad have called for the Al-Shabaab militia to enter Mogadishu as a pro-government militia in order to facilitate their presence in Mogadishu, especially in the Shirkoole neighborhood of Al-Shabaab militias that are meant to fight alongside a small force led by the former Commander Sadaq John in the Benadir region.
