Garowe – The Finance Minister of the Puntland administration Abdihakin Dhaqaje accused the general accountant of meeting Mr.Adan Muse of failing to spend nearly $ 100,000.
The minister said the $ 99,000 was lost by the Finance Minister of the Puntland State of Somalia, who resigned yesterday.
He said the minister needs to be accountable to that responsibility, according to his statement.
On the other hand, former Finance Minister Mr. Farah Baradin Adan Muse, speaking to the media, blamed the minister for the assassination of Mr. Abdullahi Awaleh Dhaqaje.
He said that he has been losing Puntland’s resources, especially the salaries for the administration.
The accountant said that when he took office, the minister had only a thousand Dollar and now with $ 155,000, he said.
The accusations come as a surprise to the Puntland authorities over the past few months.There is still no official news from the top leaders of Puntland Mr Abdiwali Gas regarding corruption in the Ministry of Finance.
