Puntland says Somalia president Hassan Sheikh has denied scholarships to their students

Puntland has said that the Federal Government of Somalia has denied Puntland students international scholarships on behalf of Somalia.

The Director of Higher Education of the Puntland Ministry of Education, Abdirisaq Ahmed Farah, who held a press conference in Garowe, said that the scholarships are part of the projects that the Federal Government has blocked from the people of Puntland.

The director of higher education said that the Ethiopian government has given scholarships to Puntland students. He thanked them. He also said that Puntland businessmen living in Uganda have guaranteed that they will provide scholarships to Puntland students in Uganda.

His speech came after the Federal Government of Somalia gave scholarships to students who passed the federal certificate examination.

The administration of SSC Khatumo is one of the administrations specially allocated for scholarships in Egypt.
