The Somalia opposition, which is currently flocking to the capital city of Mogadishu, intends to take steps to stop the government’s plan, while Villa Somalia has previously stated that anyone with different views who debates the process will not be stopped, which could lead to armed clashes in Mogadishu.
Opposition politicians Sheikh Sharif, Hassan Ali Khaire, Omar Abdirashid, Abdirahman Abdishakuur and other members gathered yesterday at Mawlaca Maalin Nur, invited by Khaliif Abdulqadir Maalin, where they had a lunch meeting and delivered speeches opposing the government.
On the other hand, the Somali government is concerned about a strong plan by the opposition to prevent the elections, which has been consolidated by Villa Somalia.
