Somalia’s MPs from the Sool region called for Hargeisa SNM militia leader warlord Muse Bihi Abdi who is killing civilians including women and children to be held accountable of genocide in Las Anod.
Some of the MPs from the Sool region have called for the Hargeisa SNM militia leader to be held accountable and brought to court for the ongoing genocide in Las Anod.
The members of the Somali parliament said SNM militia leader warlord Muse Bihi is ordering his troops to carry out massacres in the city of Las Anod.
MP Abdullahi Roble, one of the MPs who spoke on this matter, said that there were serious crimes committed by warlord Muse Bihi in Las Anod that need to be held accountable.
He said that Hargeisa SNM militia is destroying the city of Las Anod, after he said that the city is regularly bombarded every day in public places.
MP Abullahi Bidhahan, the former minister of fisheries of Somalia and one of the MPs from Sool, welcomed that the government of Somalia supported the position and wishes of the people of the Sool region (SSC).
He said that the SSC was attacked for their desire to unite Somalia and why they are against the Hargeisa SNM militia.
He said that hundreds of civilians were killed in the city of Las Anod, who he said died defending the unity of Somalia.
