Somalia president and the PM sacks Minister of Finance who refuses to raid the public purse

The Minister of Finance of the Federal Government of Somalia, Dr. Elmi Nur spoke in detail of his dismissal by Somalia president Hassan Sheikh and low IQ puppet Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre.

A statement posted on Facebook by Dr. Elmi Nur said that he is happy during his tenure in the role he took in the Somalia debt relief plan and improving the various activities of the Ministry of Finance of Somalia, noting that he has now left the office having paid all the salaries of the government employees.

“It was an honor and privilege for me to be the Minister of Finance of Somalia. I am happy that I have spearheaded the financial reform program to reach the conclusion of debt relief in Somalia, and this is going well. I have modernized the process of opening, strengthened the General Administration of Government Finance, and good governance,” said the former Minister of Finance Somalia, Dr. Elmi Nur refuses to raid the public purse.

He also said Dr. Elmi Nur has made a lot of efforts to protect politics from financial reform issues, and during his tenure at the Ministry, he worked on the Somalia debt relief plan and held public and private meetings with the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and countries that owe money to Somalia.




Dr. Elmi NUr also said in his writing that he will work with the minister who replaced Bihi Iman Cige and wished him God to protect him from his post.

“I hope that Minister Bihi Iman Cige will make the new position entrusted to him easy by God. I will continue to bear fruit in the development goals of our nation to the best of my ability,” said Dr. Elmi Mohamud Nur.
