The United States just dropped a brutal bombshell on July 1, 2026: international support is finished until Somali leaders unite. They are completely cutting off funding and support for UNSOS – the critical UN logistics lifeline for AU troops fighting Al-Shabab -after December 31, 2026. This means the entire AU mission is on the brink of total collapse, handing Al-Shabaab a massive victory. America has zero confidence left in the current failing system.

Hassan Sheikh Mohamud’s corrupt, dictatorial regime has utterly betrayed the Somali people.
