Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur Jama stole seat 204 and is squatting in an expired Speaker’s chair. Every order he issues is null, void, and criminal. Quorum still requires two-thirds. Opposition holds 167 seats.

This is not politics. This is a security catastrophe
Jama was an active Al-Shabab operative -operational and logistical roles – before he whitewashed himself into office. Put him in the Speaker’s chair and you hand a former jihadist direct control over counter-terror laws, security oversight, and every international security deal. That is not risk. That is sabotage.

Worse: his long, opaque pipeline to Turkish state and intelligence organs – forged as defense official, NISA deputy, and Ankara envoy – turns the House into a Turkish outpost. Defense contracts, ports, intelligence sharing, strategic alignment – all bent toward Ankara and away from the West.

For the United States and its allies who spent billions and years containing Al-Shabab, this is a red line. A Speaker with jihadist blood on his hands and a direct line to Erdoğan destroys counter-terror gains, shreds trust, and sells the Horn of Africa to Turkish interests.

This is not Somalia’s internal soap opera. It is a clear and present threat to regional stability and every Western dollar poured into stopping the country from falling back into terrorist hands.
The choice is brutal and binary
•Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur Jama: Turkish government asset. Campaign bankrolled by Ankara with $5,000 cash bribes per vote. Former Al-Shabaab operative. He will take orders straight from Erdoğan and the Turkish parliamentary leadership.

•Or Anyone other than Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur Jama: no foreign paymasters, no Turkish money, no Al-Shabaab blood. No former President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and his lapdog Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre hands pick.
Every MP who screamed for years about Adan Mohamed Nur’s corruption and his bed-sharing with Hassan Sheikh now gets one clean shot to fix that betrayal. Elect ANYONE ELSE and you draw a hard line against dictatorship and foreign capture. Elect Jama and you hand Somalia’s parliament to Turkish intelligence and residual Al-Shabaab networks.
Take the $2,000–$5,000 bribe and vote for the Turkish takeover – or vote for ANYONE ELSE, the only candidate who stands with ordinary Somalis, enforces the rule of law, and puts real checks on Hassan Sheikh’s authoritarian project.
First-hand numbers Jihadis – every Isaaq MP except three, every Gadabursi except one, every Issa MP, plus the entire cabinet bloc and Villa Somalia’s paid agents = 105 votes lined up against roughly 170 clean or opposition votes. The arithmetic is there. The moment is now.
