Al Shabab would not exist if the Western had not organized the Ethiopian proxy invasion and occupation of Somalia from 2006 to 2009

Al Shabab is the US/ EU / UAE excuse for its continued military presence. But it is a well-known fact that Al Shabab would not exist if the western had not organized the Ethiopian proxy invasion and occupation of Somalia from 2006 to 2009, when the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) was still in power in Ethiopia.

Al Shabab extremists emerged when the TPLF invaded and overthrew the Islamic Courts. The Courts were not extremist, but Al Shabab is, and Al Shabab emerged when the Courts fell and today MOU between PM Abiy Ahmed and Col Musa Bihi has given new lifeline to Al- Shabab.

Many Somalis believe that the western literally organized Al Shabab, but whether that is true or not, Al Shabab would not exist without the US/ EU, and they are very well armed despite the arms embargo.

In short, Somalia is a theatre of war. It is Afro action cinema. It is the embodiment of failed Western interventions and hegemony in Africa.

Africa wake up, yesterday was Somalia, today is Sudan and tomorrow can be any other African country. So sad so sad.
