The minister telling to the SNA after US Government cut funding to AU Peacekeeping forces that U.S. government is not friend we don’t need money and in courage to show how they feel about US government cutting and led videos show SNA soldiers disrespecting and stomping on US flags.

This is the direction the current regime has taken in order to stay in power indefinitely. This is a direct strategic blow to U.S. investment in Somalia’s security and stability, while China gains a key foothold in the Horn of Africa, Al-Shabaab is legitimized, and AU forces are pushed out. Somalia’s shift threatens U.S. national security, U.S. counterterrorism efforts, Red Sea security, and regional stability.
