UN Security Council holds discussions regarding political situation and security in Somalia




The Security Council will discuss political and security situation in Somalia, with a report to the United Nations envoy to Somalia, James Swan.

The meeting will take place on 24 June, according to a statement published by the UN Security Affairs.

The meeting comes, with Somalia recently called to close the UN support office in UNSOM, which does not welcome the United Nations.
