According to Somali officials which told Somali Times former Puntland governor and Aran Jaan leader Abdirahman Farole has been tested postive of Coronavirus.
”Aran Jaan leader Abdirahman Farole had a interview with outlet media this morning and he was coughing a lot. Then after the interview he went to the hospital for testing and he was positive for Covid-19,”
Abdirahman Farole said. Galmudug, Hirshabelle and the Southwest states have their lands mostly occupied by Al-Shabaab and did not have enough revenue, and therefore supported the Somali federal government.
“Three regional administrations are lands mostly occupied by Al-Shabaab and the surrounding towns,” Farole said.
Also, he said the three regional administrations have no excuse for supporting anti-federalism, as they are based on the country’s federal system.
