The Security Council shall determine the existence of any threat to the peace, breach of the peace, or act of aggression and shall make recommendations, or decide what measures shall be taken in accordance with Articles 41 and 42, to maintain or restore international peace and security.

These discussions behind closed doors are focused on the worsening conflict between Puntland and Villa Somalia, which escalated after the action taken by parliament yesterday.

The meeting between President Said Deni and UN envoy Catriona Laing comes hours after the administration announced that it has withdrawn its recognition and trust from the federal government of Somalia.

Puntland has stood firm on the implementation of the amendment of the constitution Hassan Sheikh revoked the constitution that was agreed upon, and taking a new constitution out of his pocket.
The amendment to the constitution that came into effect yesterday is also facing strong opposition from the former leaders and opposition politicians, and its implementation is being questioned.
However, the Somali Presidency has used bribery fraud in approving these four chapters, especially Chapter 4, which contains the most important articles of the constitution, especially those that touch on the politics and governance of the country, which was important to the Presidency, and it is the one that was rejected.
If the Somali people cannot rule themselves and they have current president Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud who is defrauding the constitution then Hassan Sheikh forget Somalia still is controlled by the UN then Catriona Laing will replace Hassan Sheikh according to sources by Somali officials told Somali Times.
