Speaker of Parliament appoints Somalia presidential election commission

The Speaker of the House of the People of the 11th Parliament of Somalia  Adan Mohamed Nur Madobe has appointed a committee to organize the election of the President of the Federal Government of Somalia.

Aden Madobe has appointed an eight-member committee, with three members remaining to be nominated in the coming days, and the committee will include six members from the Upper House, all of whom will work on holding presidential elections federal of Somalia.




The eight members of the committee appointed by the chairman Sheikh Aden Madobe are as follows.

1-MP Mowlid Abdi Mohamed.

2-MP Ali Haji Dahir.

3-MP Nura Mustaf Mukhtar.

4-MP Mohamed Ahmed (Berey)

5- MP Mohamed Ibrahim Mualimuu

6- MP Abdiwahab Abdi Omar

7-MP Omar Yusuf Khalib

8- MP Fardowsa Mohamed Egal

The committee appointed today by the Speakers of the Lower and Upper Houses of the Somali Parliament is set to issue an election timetable and expedite the Somali presidential election in the coming days.
