The UAE is known for injecting large amounts of money into the country in the last year of each federal government term, directly interfering in politics, and implementing decisions that cripple the Somalia state.
It is possible that the two regional states of Puntland and Jubaland will agree to the UAE’s implementation plan, which could be a major threat to the federal government and the country as a whole.
The Federal Government, which is aware of the threat from the UAE, has repeatedly stated in public that there are governments and individuals among Somalia politicians who are collaborating on sensitive issues against the Somalia state.
Opposition politicians have gathered in Mogadishu, challenging the federal government. They have begun meetings and social mobilization in the capital, pressuring the government to consult on the type of elections the country should be headed for.
